Chocolate Mousse

This recipe makes a very simple, eggless chocolate mousse. It requires only two ingredients, and no more time than it takes to melt some chocolate, and whip some cream.

Chocolate Mousse

4 oz whipping cream

2-3 oz dark chocolate

Place the cream in a large (preferably chilled) bowl, and beat until soft peaks form.

Place chocolate in a bowl over simmering water. Do not let the bowl touch the water. Once the chocolate is melted, remove it from the heat, and allow to cool slightly.

Fold the chocolate into the cream carefully until combined. Spoon into dessert dishes and refrigerate.
